Children: We don't have a designated childrens area but young guests can enjoy the outside activities that the countryside has to offer. Quackers Play Barn is three miles down the road at Newbridge on Wye, the local leisure centre is three miles away at Rhayader and there are great play facilities and childrens activities at the Elan Valley Visitors Centre (4 miles). There is also a fantastic play area at Llandrindod Well Lake, this has many outdoor activities for all the family including boating, dragon boats and kayaking/paddle boarding as well as a large outdoor sandpit. Ball games are not allowed on the park. Please do not allow your children to ride bikes and scooters up and down the road through the park or run between the caravans, remember that as well as cars there are elderly and blind/disabled guests on the park for whom "racing" bicycles etc are a potential hazard. Pets: There is a beautiful permissive path around the Wye to walk your dog but please note that whilst we are dog friendly they must be on a lead at all times on the park and in the adjacent field. Clean up after your pet immediately. Talk to us about nearby places to exercise your pet off-lead.
Convenience: A Garage, mini supermarket and a café are all within walking distance of the site. Larger shops are to be found 3 miles away in the market town of Rhayader and big super markets (Tesco, Aldi ) are 7 miles away in Llandrindod Wells. The entrance to the park is down a gently sloping road. Please do not exceed 5 miles per hour when driving through the site.
